On August 28th & 29th, the Manawatu Classic Club run their Bi-annual Motorcycle Show in the Barber Hall in Palmerston North with bikes on display including a 1914, 500cc Humber single, an air cooled Norton Rotary, a 600cc BWM Trail twin, a 500cc 1936 Ivory Calthorpe, a 500cc Model 21 Norton flat tanker, a 1926 Indian Scout, an XR750 Harley flat tracker, a 600cc Panther Sloper, a Speedway TQ Midget powered by a 500cc Norton twin and a 500cc, Jawa ice racing bike complete with two inch steel spikes on the tyres.
There were plenty of classic and vintage street bikes as well as classic racers, modern racers, radical choppers, dirt bikes, beach racers, vintage grass tracker, sidecars and even a couple of Supercharged Drag Bikes.
